Terms of Use

These terms describe how the Trezor website, product pages, applications, documentation, support content, orders, and service communications may be used. They define the responsibilities that apply when you browse information, download software, purchase a device, request support, or manage a self-custody workflow with Trezor products.

1. Overview

By accessing the Trezor website, reading product information, downloading Trezor Suite, using support materials, placing an order, or communicating with service channels, you agree to these terms where they apply. The purpose of this document is to make the service relationship clear: what information and tools are provided, how they may be used, and which decisions remain under your control.

These terms apply together with other pages such as the Privacy Policy, product information, download guidance, support articles, and purchase-related notices. If a specific product, region, platform, or service has additional conditions, those conditions may also apply.

2. Eligibility and responsibility

You should use the website, applications, products, and support resources only if you are allowed to do so under the laws and rules that apply to you. If you submit order details, contact information, support materials, or service requests, the information should be accurate, current, and provided by someone authorized to act.

If you use the services on behalf of a company, team, or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization. You are also responsible for your own device access, communication channels, account records, recovery materials, and the decisions you make while using a self-custody product.

3. Product and service scope

Trezor-related services may include hardware wallet information, device setup resources, Trezor Suite download pages, product comparison pages, supported asset information, support articles, FAQ content, order communication, and after-sales assistance. These resources are provided to help users understand product features, compatibility, setup steps, and account management workflows.

Product availability, device features, supported platforms, firmware behavior, Trezor Suite functions, asset support, third-party wallet compatibility, and service-provider availability can vary over time. Page content may be updated as products, applications, networks, and support materials change.

Information on the website is not personalized financial, tax, accounting, legal, or investment advice. You should make product and asset-management decisions based on your own circumstances and the latest information available to you.

4. Orders and fulfilment

When placing an order, you should provide valid billing, delivery, payment, and contact details. Prices, taxes, delivery options, availability, promotions, return conditions, and after-sales terms may vary by location, channel, inventory status, and time of purchase.

An order may require confirmation before it is processed. If pricing, stock, payment, address, fulfilment, or compliance issues arise, the order may be delayed, adjusted, cancelled, or reviewed through the relevant support channel. Delivery timing may also depend on logistics partners, local procedures, and information provided during checkout.

Keep order confirmations, invoices, shipping updates, and support correspondence in a place where you can find them later. These records may be needed for delivery questions, returns, warranty review, or account-related communication.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the website, applications, documentation, and support channels in a lawful and reasonable way. You should not interfere with service operation, attempt unauthorized access, overload systems, misrepresent your identity, copy restricted materials at scale, or use support channels in a way that prevents normal service for others.

You should also avoid submitting content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, abusive, or unrelated to a legitimate product, order, support, or documentation request. When communicating with support, provide only the information needed for the request and avoid sharing recovery phrases, private keys, or other wallet-control materials.

6. Self-custody responsibilities

Trezor products are designed for self-custody workflows. That means important parts of account access and recovery remain under your control. You are responsible for keeping your recovery phrase, PIN, passphrase if used, device access, receiving addresses, and transaction approvals organized and private.

A hardware wallet can help separate key management from everyday devices, but it does not replace careful setup, correct network selection, address review, account record keeping, or secure storage of recovery materials. Before transferring assets, confirm the asset, network, address, device model, and wallet application path that apply to your transaction.

Important reminder:

Recovery phrases and private keys should not be entered into websites, chat tools, shared documents, or ordinary support forms. Support teams can help with product and process questions without needing your full recovery phrase.

7. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the website design, page structure, text, graphics, logos, product images, videos, downloadable materials, and related resources are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and use these materials for personal product research, legitimate purchasing decisions, setup guidance, and normal product use.

You may not reproduce, modify, redistribute, frame, scrape, or commercially reuse protected content in a way that suggests endorsement, creates confusion, removes attribution, or exceeds the permission granted by the relevant page or license. Brand names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Disclaimer and limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website, documentation, applications, support content, and related services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We aim to maintain accurate and useful resources, but we do not guarantee that every page, feature, integration, or service will always be available, complete, current, compatible, or error-free.

Some features depend on devices, firmware versions, operating systems, network conditions, third-party services, wallet integrations, and user actions. Where applicable law allows, liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, data-related, opportunity-related, or service-interruption losses may be limited.

9. Suspension and termination

Access to certain website areas, applications, support workflows, order processes, or communications may be suspended or limited if there is a terms violation, service misuse, unlawful activity, operational concern, support abuse, payment issue, or legal requirement. The action taken will depend on the nature of the situation and the service involved.

Sections related to intellectual property, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations, dispute handling, and other provisions that by their nature should continue may remain effective after access to a service ends.

10. Updates and contact

These terms may be updated as products, applications, service workflows, legal requirements, and business practices change. The latest version will be posted on this page with the update date shown above. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply to future use.
